NBA Star John Salley latest ‘real vegan’ on VegMichigan Billboards

John Salley is back in Detroit — on area billboards, at least. The NBA champ and former Detroit Piston is the latest non-meateater to represent “real vegans,” a campaign for nonprofit VegMichigan, the state’s largest vegetarian organization. Several billboards featuring Salley and other vegans — people who eat no animal products — can be seen as of this week on area freeways.

“We’re excited to have a star like John Salley to help show that vegans are real people,” says Paul Krause, president of VegMichigan. “Vegans are healthy, vibrant, compassionate…and a growing segment of the population.”  READ FULL ARTICLE >>
