The Impossible Burger on Dossant Bun

Vegan food is on the rise  in LA where we’ve seen local restaurants implement the Impossible Burger on their menus but we haven’t really seen the vegan “meat” product used beyond that — until now.

These restaurants are really pushing the limits on vegan cuisine as one of the first to use Impossible Foods meat in menu items that go beyond just the burger to more varied offerings, giving diners out of the box dish options to choose from while being able to stick to their dietary preferences.

Starting October 3rd, local Burbank restaurant and craft beer bar Tony’s Darts Away will be adding  “The Impossible Burger on Dossant Bun”, with two Impossible Burger patties, vegan bacon slices, 2 slices vegan Provolone, frizzled onions on a donut croissant bun to its menu.

Additionally, the recently opened authentic English brewpub The Stalking Horse is also adding a vegan version of the traditional Shepard Pie with a “Cottage Pie” to the menu, with minced Impossible Meat, peas, carrots, onions, mashed potatoes, and brown gravy in a cast iron casserole.

As well, Downtown LA’s very own modern American craft beer restaurant and bar, Sixth St. Tavern is creating “Reuben sandwich” with Impossible burger patty, Russian dressing, sauerkraut, vegan swiss on griddled rye.
