UC Davis to Hold P.E.A.C.E Vegan Frat Challenge, January 22-26

People for the Elimination of Animal Cruelty through Education at UC Davis

On January 22-26, UC Davis is hosting their FIRST EVER Vegan Frat Challenge, where an entire fraternity goes vegan for one week!

Through this challenge, they are hoping to engage and educate the male fraternity demographic about the benefits of adopting a vegan diet, not only for themselves, but more importantly, for the animals, the planet, and the people harmed by factory farming.

The Vegan Frat Challenge will be a large scale event. The main goal is to educate people about animal cruelty as well as the benefits of switching to a vegan diet.

During the week of the Vegan Frat Challenge they will be also be having many events open to the public on and off campus. Some of these events include iAnimal (virtual reality detailing the truths about animal cruelty), Brave the Cage (an education demonstration about the conditions that factory farmed hens face), a showing of the documentaries Earthlings and What the Health, and many other fun and exciting events.
