1/2 kilogram cubed cauliflower
1 finely chopped onion
1 finely chopped tomato
2 tablespoons (10 grams) coconut
2 tablespoons (15 grams) coriander powder
2 tablespoons (15 grams) cumin powder
1 teaspoon (2 grams) red chili powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon (.5 gram) turmeric
1 tablespoon (5 grams) besan (chickpea flour)
salt to taste
asafetida as needed
Mix all the masalas (spices) well. Keep aside 2 tablespoons of the masala mix and mix the remaining into vegetables. Steam the veggies. Boil remaining masala mix separately. Pour over veggies and serve.
