Sure, anyone can stargaze on Broadway and in Beverly Hills, but since celebrities now can’t go even one meal without something vegan, you can catch them popping up at animal-friendly restaurants all across the U.S. That’s why PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—has put together its picks for the Top Five Star-Studded Vegan Restaurants that aren’t located in the Big Apple or Hollywood.

“With tasty favorites ranging from key lime cheesecake to house-made ravioli filled with cashew cream, these restaurants are the place for health-conscious and animal-friendly celebrities who crave vegan foods,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “None of the hot spots on PETA’s list should have to wait a New York minute to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when the food is super-delicious and kind to animals, the environment, and people’s arteries.”

First place goes to Sublime Restaurant & Bar in Fort Lauderdale, Florida—a favorite of Paul McCartney, Alec Baldwin, and Gloria Estefan—while the other “Oscars” go to Green New American Vegetarian in Phoenix, where Kendrick Lamar, Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy, and Pamela Anderson have all been sighted; Woodland’s Vegan Bistro in Washington, D.C., where Kanye West, Beyoncé, Kal Penn, and Ginuwine have all dined; the Windy City’s Chicago Diner, which has served Lady Gaga, Joan Jett, and Ellen DeGeneres; and Seattle’s Plum Bistro, whose patrons include Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Casey Affleck, and Joaquin Phoenix. Each winner will receive a framed certificate.
