Fluffy Vegan Pancakes

No matter what part of the day it is, pancakes are always a great option for an amazing meal! They’re done in a matter of minutes, quite affordable and you don’t need any special culinary skills to make a batch of these. The Ingredients

So, what you need is:

  • 1 cup of flour (most people use all-purpose flour, but you can substitute it with whichever kind you prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons of baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of water or milk (depending on how fluffy you want your pancakes to be)
  • ¼ of teaspoon of vegetable oil and
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (again, use whichever you usually use, or just pick organic like most vegans).

Some of the other ingredients you could add to the batter are cider vinegar, canola or coconut oil, vegan butter and vanilla extract. Again, this is an entirely personal choice, so don’t include something you don’t generally use. All of these ingredients will give your pancakes an amazing smell and even more amazing taste and turn your meal into an extra special treat. Just make sure you’re working with reliable KitchenAid mixers that are able to combine all of these ingredients into a homogeneous batter ready for your pan.


Once your batter is prepared – don’t forget that there can be absolutely no crumbs, so insert it all in your mixer and keep it running until smooth – you can start baking your pancakes. Preheat your pan to medium heat and put one spoon’s worth of batter in it. After a minute or two, you’ll start noticing bubbles in the middle of the pan, so flip the pancake over carefully and meticulously. This shouldn’t be too hard, especially if you know how to use a spatula, but you still need to pay attention unless you want your pancake to end up on your kitchen ceiling or the floor. Again, after a couple of minutes, your pancake’s done, so you can move onto the rest of the mixture.

Decorate and enjoy

Once your fluffy vegan pancakes are finished, all you need to do is decorate them properly and enjoy your meal! Some of the best ideas you should explore include fresh fruit – most people use strawberries or blueberries, but you can basically use any berry you prefer or even a pineapple – as well as whipped cream, as long as it’s vegan-friendly.
