Vegan is going mainstream! On Sunday, December 9, ABC will air the Vegan Shark Tank episode. Two out of the four pitches on the hit show were vegan food companies, including Soupergirl, the small-batch, vegan soup company based in DC. Also featured on Shark Tank this Sunday is Beyond Sushi, a vegan, kosher sushi company based in New York City.

In honor of the episode, Soupergirl has started the Vegan Shark Tank Challenge. For every tag on Instagram, Soupergirl will donate to Mercy for Animals, a non-profit dedicated to protecting farmed animals. Two lucky winners will also receive a Souper Meals package–a variety pack of fresh, healthy, all-natural, plant-based soup meals delivered right to your door.

SOUPERGIRL is a Washington, DC, based soup company with a mission to change the world, one bowl of soup at a time. Founded in 2008 by a mother-daughter duo, the company cooks small batch, hand-crafted, all natural, plant-based, healthy, delicious, certified kosher soups that are available up and down the East Coast. Soupergirl soups are available at more than 50 Whole Foods and other natural food stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, along with 20 Costco Warehouses from Massachusetts through Washington, DC, and as far west as Detroit. Soupergirl also ships its Souper Meals packages nationally.
